Re: charles claypool asil/jap

so far i find the 25/75 asil/sweater combination better over the 50/50 cross. this season i will be testing the 1/8-7/8 combination.

Re: charles claypool asil/jap

His orientals are as good as walk the green grass. 1\2 is perfect, if you cut to a 1\4, use the 1\2 Asil on the hen side.

a 3/4 cross. I was going to test this one in a stag derby but it exceeded the allowable weight.

bai JEDVA,

those are some of the best looking asil cross i've seen. can they keep up in terms of speed being 1/2 or 3/4 asil blood vs your other texas blood ?

Re: charles claypool asil/jap

bai,
comparatively, they're slow in terms of speed but they looked to be accurate hitter based on the sparring.

this 3/4 cross moves faster than other ones.

Re: charles claypool asil/jap

These are all 1\2 bloods of the Soggy Bottom blood(Claypoole) breed by Ozark Mountain and they are as quick or more so than even his pure Albany blood, but twice as accurate. They are an Asil\Albany and two Albany\Grey over Asil one being red.

Yes, they timed their shots, different breaking points (1/4-3/4 before-after) and are more accurate......
